make your own sunglasses
We found ourselves bored on a pretty day in the summer and decided to drive around and find yard sales. We came across one nearby our neighborhood and found these amazing eyeglasses frames.
We bought the frames for $1 each. The woman had said that they were her husbands old eyeglasses and that the frames were made in Italy.
Since we had a fabulous frame foundation, we wanted to turn these into sunglasses. We took the frames to our eye place and asked if they would be able to put lenses into the frames. They took a look at the frames and told us that the quality of the frames are not like they make them today. That these frames were extremely well-made and durable.
They laid out lens options for us and what they thought would be best for the type of frame they are. We chose a gray gradient lens for the aviator/square frame and a more full protection lens for what I call the over-sized, bug-eye shaped lens.
